SELECTORS GET BUSY

There is much activity among those selectinT the team to represent Auckland at the Dominion tourney in August. Training College, which hae this year fielded a team much improved on last year's standard, provided ample opposition to the association's champions—'Varsity Blues —in their last encounter. Despite defeat by 14 goals to 9 they played a wellfought game, and some of their forward movewppts particularly hod the opposition bluffed. However, in a practically faultless game 'Varsity completely outclassed St. Peter's to vin 10—3. Outstanding feature was the excellent shooting of 'Varsity's star player. Miss Val Wyatt. To-day is announced the A"ckland representatives to compete at the Rotorua tourney to be held shortly.
