DANGEROUS DRIVING.
FINES AT OTAHUHU. At the Otahuhu Police Court to-day Alfred Hector Steel was charged that on May ft at 7..'5 ft p.m. he drove a car at Manurewa at (10 m.p.h. Inspector Jones said accused passed a car at this speed, and then dropped to 4ft m.p.h. Steel said he was in a hurry to get to the graduation ball. For dangerous driving the magistrate, Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M.. imposed a fine of £4 and 10/ costs, and 011 a charge of speeding a fine of i'l and 10/ co«ts.
