RUGBY FOOTBALL.
HAWKE'S BAY AFFAIRS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Friday. An invitation from the Kins Country Rugby Union to the Hawke's Bay Union to play a representative match at Taumarunui in August was declined at a meeting of the management committee of the Hawke's Bay Ruabi' Union to-night at Napier. Mr. G. A. Maddkon, of Hastings, vicepresident of the New Zealand Rugby Union, will be nominated by the Hawke's Bay Union as one of the two delegates to attend the Empire conference in London on December 15.
