COSMETICS WANTED.
WOMEN CONVICTS STRIKE.
MEXICO CITY. Three hundred women convicts in the prison at Guadalajara, Mexico's second largest city, rioted and went on a hunger strike that lasted for two days because the governor forbade them "to smoke cigarettes, and use cosmetics. The official contended that the women were in prison as a punishment. They argued that to deprive them of cigarettes and cosmetics was not in their sentence. The women won.
