AUCKLAND TRAVEL CLUB.
MORNING TEA.
The Auckland Travel Club held their weekly morning tea in the reception hall of Milne and Choyce yesterday, and it wa« attended by a large number of members and visitors. The speaker wa* Mr. Vernon Rice, of Canada, who gave an interesting talk on incidents in the life of a Royal North-West Mounted policeman in Canada. Mr. J. A. C. Allum, the president, presided, and the hostesses were Mrs. Allum, Mrs. W. P. Allen, Mrs. F. G. Ashley and Mrs. Albert Aley. Mrs. J. Owen rendered some vocal numbers and the accompanist was Mrs. Humphrey Steward. Both ladies were recipients of floral sprays presented by Mrs. Allum.
