BRIDGING OF FORD.
(From Our Own Correspondent.') THAMES, Friday. Expressing sincere regret at the recent drowning tragedy at the Waiwawatl ford. Goroplen, the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Scrapie, has announced that lie is including £4000 tree money in this year's estimates for (he construction of a bridge. The urgent need for a bridge was pointed out to him by Mr. James Thorn, M.P.
