The Government has decided to s«t up. under the chairmanship of Mr J. W. Heenan. C.8.E., Under-Secretary of Internal Affairs, i National Centennial Art Committee to assist in organising an exhibition of New Zealand art that will range from the work of the earliest artists to that of the present day. It is the intention of the Government that this exhibition when assembled should tour New Zealand during the centennial >ear.
