TE ANAU ROAD BLIZZARD.
TEN GARS RESCUED BY PATROLS
(From Our Correspondent.) DUNEDIX, Thursday. With ten cars caught in the snow on Gorge Hill on the Te Anau Road, between Moeeburn and Lumsden, on Monday, and one ear over the bank, the patrol officers of the Automobile Association (Southland) had a particularly strenuous time. The arrival of the two patrol officers was very welcome to the motorists, ae none of the drivers of the cars had chains. The rescue work began at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, and the last car wae not out of ite difficulties until 10.30 p.m.
