STURMER APPLES CHEAPER.
CARROTS AND PARSNIPS UP
Increased supplies of apples released from cool store this week have caused wholesale pricee to ease elightly and retail rates for some varieties, such as Stunners, are also a little lower. More lemons are available than for some weeks and values are clown slightly to 2/ a dozen. Tomatoes and pineapples are dearer, however. Peas and beans are row almost unprocurable, while carrots and parsnips have risen to 4d a lb. Lettuces are plentiful and value* have dropped to 4d and 5d each. Egg prices are unchanged.
