WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate to strong south-west winds, decreasing gradually. Weather rather changeable, with occasional light showers. Milder temperatures, ocas rough on the west coast, and slight to moderate on the east coast. The recent anti-cycione is now centred in the north Tasman Sea. and the situation is becoming more of the westerly type. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-west, moderate; sea, moderate; weather, cloudy and hazy: visibility, good; barometer, rising.
