\rrangements for the entertainment of teams during Country Week were •it a meeting of the executive of the Auth. land Indies' Hockey Association. Nine teams from the province had entered the competition for the 1 rovinrijil Cup. the present bolder of which is Auck '""'or the first time since the inauguration of the tournament the ladies' games will he decided on grounds apart from those occupied by the men. .... , It was 1 decided to officially welcome the teams at Melville Park (Gillies Avenue), next Monday, prior to the commencement of the frame's. A picture party and a ball. held in conjunction with the men's association, will complete the programme of entertainment. No senior games have been arranged by the Auckland Indies' Hockey Association next Saturday, but representative trials will be held on ground No. 1 at Melville Park at 3.5 p.m. Mrs. Nicholson and Mr. Avery have been appointed umpires.
