The president. Mrs. Lord, presided over a good attendance at the weekly meeting of the Daisy Chain Club, held recently in the elubrooms. The tlio:i«ht for the day was read by the secretai v. Mrs. Bar foot, in the absence of the vicepresident, Mrs. Corrin. Mrs. Duke was the winner of a novelty prize. Hostesses for the day were Mesdames Bowsher. l'arsons and I'ink and the afternoon tea hostess. Mrs. R. Cairns.
