DAMAGE TO NEW ROADS.

LIMITED SPEED SUGGESTED.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday. Damage done to newly constructed roads by fast-moving motor traffic was referred to at the annual meeting of the Taranaki Local Bodies' Association to-day. A resolution was carried that representations be made calling attention to the position and suggesting that the law be amended to give local bodies power to limit speeds over newly constructed roads. The resolution will be forwarded to the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Seniple.
