Mr. X. S. Falla arrived in London by Imperial Airways on Tuesday. Mr. F. Brown will leave for Wellington by this evening's Limited express. Mr. W. Fletcher arrived by the Limited express from Wellington this morning. Mr. R. (I. Bnekleton returned to Wellington by the Limited express last evening. Dr. L. G. Drurv returned from the south by the Limited express this morninc. 'Mi. C. M. Bowden returned to Weiliugtou by last evening's Limited express. Mr. W. H. Cocker will leave for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. Wing-Commander A. <Ie T. Xevill left for Wellington by the Limited express last evening. Canon D. J. Da vies, of St. Paul's ProCathedral, Wellington, is at present visiting Auckland. Dr. F. Jacomb, of the Channel Islands, who has been visiting Auckland, is to leave in the Matua. The Right Hon. J. G. Coates visited Auckland yesterday. He returned to Matakolie last evening. Dr. K. McCormick returned to Auckland by the Limited express this morning from Wellington. The Rt. Rev. Bishop Liston was a passenger from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. Mr. F. G. Farrell, president of the Automobile Association, has been appointed a member of the Orewa Domain Board. Professor G. F. Stout and Professor A. K. Stout will be passengers for the south by the Limited express this evening. The Hon. W. Lee Martin. Minister of Agriculture, will deliver the main address at the graduation ceremony at Massey College to-day. Mr. H. W. Shove, of the Auckland Manufacturers' Association, arrived in Auckland this morning by the early express from Wellington. Captain W. E. Parry, of H.M.S. Achilles, will leave this evening for Wellington by the Limited express to attend a meeting of the Xaval Board. Mr. W. Ellerington, of Auckland, leaves for Wellington this evening to catch the Awatea for Sydney. He intends to spend a few weeks in Australia. Mr. D. E. Fuuliey. official secretary to the (iovernor-General, Lord Galway, und Major R. (;. Byron, military secretary, will be passengers for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. ilr. W. J. Sheehan. president of the Tasmanian Chamber of Manufacturers, who is visiting Wellington, is investigating manufacturing possibilities ia Xew Zealand. He will leave for America on -June 20. The Hon. Mr. Justice Callan, who is to act as judge at the Arbitration Court during the Hon. Mr. Justice Regan's illness, left last evening for the South in the Limited express. The first sitting of the Court under his presidency will commence in Dunedin next week. Mr. H. B. Hawthorn, M.Se., 8.A., foif merly a pupil at Thorndon School and Wellington College, who is at present studying at the University of Hawaii ill terms of a fellowship, has been awarded a Cargenie grant, which will make it possible for him to proceed to I'aie University. Mr. A. M. Williams, a former officer of the Valuation Department, the field staff of the State Advances Corporation and the Audit Office in Wellington, has been appointed secretary to the Southland Hospital Board. After leaving the Government service he was with the Taranaki Hospital Board for five years. Mr. H. M. Rogerson left for the south by the noon 'plane to-day.
