The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina came up from the powder ground off Motuihi yesterday afternoon and berthed at Queen's wharf to commence discharge of her general cargo from Liverpool and West Coast ports. She is expected to leave next Wednesday for Wellington. The Matson liner Monterey will arrive at 7 a.m. on Friday from San Francisco, via Los Angeles Harbour. Honolulu. J'a pro Pago and Suva. She has 7~> passengers landing here. 10-"> through and about 200 will join her when she leaves at 10 p.m. on Friday for Sydney and Melbourne. The Canadian Australasian Royal Mail steamer Niagara leaves Sydney to-mor-row for Auckland and is due on Monday morning. She will sail at 11 a.m. next Tuesday for Suva, Honolulu. The Xew Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rimutaka, 10,000 tons, which has been discharging London cargo at Queen's wharf, is expected to leave to-morrow evening for Wellington to complete discharge and commence home loading.
