TOURIST BUSINESS.

MANAGERS TO 1 CONFER.

Por two days next week district managers of the Tourist Department and managers of Government hostels will sit in conference in Wellington and exchange views and discuss affairs connected with the tourist business.

The conference will be opened on Tuesday by the acting-Minister in Charge of Tourist and Health Resorts, the Hon. W. E. Parry, and will be presided over by the general manager of the Tourist Department, Mr. L. J. Schmitt. Mr. J. W. Clarke, district manager of the Tourist Department, Auckland, will leave for Wellington on Monday evening to attend the conference.
