IMPORT CONTROL.
T tvouM like to bring under toot notice that I have read your views on the matter of the illegality of the import eontrol regulations, j I do not, however, see any reference to tlie members of the Government being brought to trial for this illegal procedure. In what way, for instance, do they differ from bogus company promoters who bring ruin and despair by their illegal aets in the Mine way as the Government has done by aets which are' evidently just as illegal? If the members of the Cabinet are to be treated differently from their fellow men. it is time a statute was passed holding them jointly and severally responsible for all deeds. They should then be treated in the same way as any other law-breakers when necessary. Why should one set of men be allowed to leialii-e their misdeeds and another set. such a- bogus company promoters, not be allowed? Both sets of men are tarred with the -ame brush* according to EQUAL PRIVILEGE.
