(Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, June 2. The series of county cricket matches which began on Wednesday was characterised by eeveral remarkable performances. Three members of Sir Julien Calm's team -which visited New Zealand compiled three-figure scores. They were A. H. Dyson, G. F. Heane and J. Hardstaff. Dyson, playing for Glamorgan against Gloucestershire at Newport, missed by only one run the record established by C. .T. B. Wood for Leicestershire against orkshire in 1911, when he made a. century iu both innings and carried his bat right through from the first wicket. Dyson had the misfortune to be 99 in the first innings when the last wicket fell and he wag again unbeaten after making 120 in the second innings. In the same game W. I?.. Hammond ran up 302 for the visitors and Emrys Davies earned his bat for 28/ in the TVelshman's second inning?. H. S. Squires also had hard luck at the Oval, for he made 97 in the first innings against Sussex and then was unbeaten after hitting up 107 in his second knock. L. L. Wilkinson (Lancashire), who, at the age of 22, is regarded as one of the best slow bowlers in England and represented that country in the Tests in South Africa took eight wickets for 53 against Hampshire.

Derby wou by Ave wickets.
WARWICK V. YORKSHIRE. Warwickshire: First innings, 219 (Bcnr« seven for 50't; second, 144 (Bowes five for 49. Verity five for 3S). Yorkshire; First innings 417 (Hutton 15S). Yorkshire •won by an innings and 54 runs. LANCASHIRE V. HANTS. Lancashire: First innings, els for 4SS declared (Iddon 141 not out). Hampshire: First innings. 290 (Bailer 100); second, 132 (Wilkinson eight for 53), Lancashire won by an innings and 66 runs. NOTTS V.
