ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
The' seventh annual meeting of the Ponsonby School Parents and Teachers' Association was held in the school, Curran Street.
The president, Mr. A. C. Norden, Mid the school had been provided with an electric clock and electric belle, cricket matting and gear, and jeraeyi for the boys and basketball equipment for the girls. In addition the presentation by the association of a complete radio outfit, including gramophone pick-up, microphone and loud speaker* in the ground* and in every clnenroom, wns greatly appreciated by the teacher* and children. The association stil! had a balance in hand of £22 4/. Mr. l<. P. Broad, the headmaster, spoke of the need of a reference library and general ground improvements , , including the erection of seats in front of the school house. . . , The election of officer* resulted ae follow*:—President, Mr. A.
