The Canadian Australasian Royal "Mail motor ship Aorangi, which arrived fro/" Vancouver at 6 p.m. on Monday, will sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Sydney. She has had a larger cargo to handle than usual, which accounted for the delay in her sailing times. She is due at Sydney early on Sunday morning and will be laid up there for two months for overhaul. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rimutaka (ex P. and O. Mongolia), a steamer of 16,600 tons, commanded by Captain C. B. Lamb, arrived from London at 2.45 p.m. to-day and berthed on the western side of Queen's wharf. She t>roug!it 250 passengers and a large general cargo and will be in port for a week. The Union Company's motor ship Matua arrived from Rarotonga and the Cook Islands at 7 p.m. yesterday after a rough passage on the last part of her viyage. She berthed at Queen's wharf and will sail at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Nukualofa, Apia and Suva. The Union Company's express passenger liner Awatea left Sydney for Auckland at 8 p.m. yesterday and is scheduled to arrive here at 1 p.m. on Friday. She sails on her return to Sydney at 5 p.m. next Tuesday. Forresbank will complete discharge of phosphate at Kinfr's wharf and sail on her return to Nauru to-morrow evening. (8.P.C.) Port Sydney left Opua on this afternoon's tide for Auckland and is due at midnight. She will berth at Prince s wharf to-morrow morning to continue loading. (N.Z.S. Co.) Welcombe, 5122 tons, advises that she will arrive from Java on Saturday morning with raw sugar for Chelsea. (Spedding, Ltd.) Naumburg, which arrived yesterday from New Orleans, is discharging 2500 tons of sulphur, also general cargo, at King's wharf. (H. and M.) Cape Horn will arrive at 6 a.m. next Tuesday with general cargo from Pacific Coast ports and fruit from Papeete. (U.S.S. Co.)

James Cook, the Sleigh Line steamer with cargo from Australian ports, will arrive from Wellington to-morrow morning l , berthing at King's wharf. (X.S.S. Co.) Huntingdon, with a shipment of aeroplanes from Alexandria, Egypt, to be assembled at Hobsonville by the Royal New Zealand Air Force, will arrive at 7 a.m. 011 Sunday. (X.Z.S. Co.)
