SMART ENSEMBLES AT TO-DAY'S TROTS.
Many Racegoers Attend The Meeting.
In lovely sunshine the second (lav of tiie Auckland I rotting Club's meeting iit Alexandra Park was attended by a large number of racing enthusiasts to-day. Many attractive models were worn bv the women patrons, and most popular were the light tweed suits and ensembles. Bright colours were the order of the day and were noticed in smart accessories. bags and hats. The multicoloured weaves which are fn.-hion's latest decree were in both frocks and suits and. accompanied by matching hat, struck a chic note. Al! tones of brown \M'le very popular, though irrey, blue and black held their own. .Manv of the shoes were suede with leather designs. Among those present were:—Mrs. 10. (!.
