INQUEST OPENED.
RETIRED PARMER'S DEATH. After hearing evidence of identification the coroner. Mr. F. K. Hunt, adjourned an inquest opened to-day into the death of Colin a retired farmer, aged B.">. who died in a private hospital on "Monday. Dceased resided in <;ladwin Road, Epsom. Del-eased was crossing Manukau Road. Epsim. about 5.40 p.m. on Monday when he was knocked down by a motor truck.
