TRADE IN WOOL TOPS. MERINOS SLIGHTLY HIGHER. (Received 9.30 a.m.-) LONDON, May 28. Topmakers at Bradford report a elight improvement in the volume of inquiries. Merinos are fractionally higher. Business in crossbreds is not 8s large ae in recent weeks. The substantial orders previously placed are apparently imw in process of digestion. Summer-like weather and the improved political outlook have led to an improvement in the piecegoods trade. In London optimism is now becoming general.
