NATIONAL UNION.
TRAMWAYMEN APPROVE. At a meeting of the Auckland Trainway Employees' Union resolutions were passed adopting the rules for the proposed Xew Zealand Tramway Authorities' Industrial Union of Workers, and concurring in an application by this organisation for registration of the newunion. The rules were framed at a reei<t conference in Wellington of representatives of various tramway unions throughout Xew Zealand, and it is understood that the Wellington union has, like the Auckland body, adopted them.
It is stated that the rules are acceptable to the registrar of unions, and that no difficulties in the formation of the national union will be raised by other centres.
