ATHLETICS, HARRIERS, CYCLING

The Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club will continue its winter competitions at the Outer Domain to-morrow, commencing at 2 p.m. sharp. A combined run with the Lynndale Club will he held to-morrow by the UniversityHarrier Club, starting from St. George's Hall, Kanfurly Road. Epsom, at 2.30 p.m. The Papatoetoe Harrier Club will contest a four-mile handicap race to-morrow, starting at 2 p.m. The course will ne from the club rooms to Mangere by way of Grey Avenue, returning via Buckland Road. The club juniors will hold a 21-miie race and will start at 1.45 p.m. The Presbyterian Harrier Club will hold a run to-morrow from the Epsom Presbyterian Church. Epsom. The novice race will be decided, the competitors leaving at 2.30 p.m. over a course of three miles and a half to four miles. The usual procedure will be observed for the remainder of the club, the runners being divided into three packs. The Auckland Baptist harriers will run from the North Memorial Church, Remuera Road, at 2.30 p.m. The Calliope harriers will be the guests of the Wesley Club, and will combine in a run from the Onehunga Methodist Church. The Northern Amateur Cycling Club will conduct a 10 miles junior handicap and a 25 miles senior time trial under sealed handicap conditions on Saturday. The juniors will start at 2.15 p.m. The Lynndale Amateur Cycle Club will hold a 20-mile senior and a 13-mile junior race to-morrow. The Papatoetoe Cycle Club will hold two races to-morrow, when the seniors will race over five laps of the Kast Tamaki circuit and the juniors over two laps, both races starting from East Tamaki Road at 2.30 p.m. The Manukau Amateur Cycle Club will hold a 20 miles senior race to-morrow, while the juniors will compete over a fivemile shorter course.
