LOP-SIDED LEGISLATION.
Surely the time hae arrived when something must be done to help our country out of this economic disaster—yes, I eaid disaster. If one-half of the community hae got to be thrown out of bueiness or businesses cut down to euch an extent that it is not worth carrying on, then there must be something vitally wrong with this Government's legislation. Who would have dreamt in the height of a l>oom that hundreds of bueiness men and thousands of workers would be adversely affected like this? *We are having to pay for our picinic all right—but who is going to clean up the mess? Squandering on Public Works will never secure us prosperity—the soil is our gold mine. Soft eoa-p talk and security will not go over at the next election. Some people now are only waking up to the fact that they ewallowed'hook, line and sinker and are now getting scaled. It reminds one of the salesman who starts off selling something for nothing, but there is always a catch in it. We are handcuffed to the Government right and left, and we who have suffered through no fault of our own but through the folly of this Government's drastic changes should unite in a body and fight for the rights and freedom we once cherished. ACTION".
