FIVE FROM WAIKATO DISTRICT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON-, Tuesday. Thirty entries from seven centres had been received for this year's Chatham Cup competition, said the secretary, Mr. A. Williams, at to-night's meeting of the council of the New Zealand i'uotball Association. The ontries were:—Wellington, S (Seatoun. Diamond. Petone. Swifts, Hospital, Miirist. Waterside, Mlramar Rangers) ; Auckland, 8 (Comrades, Ponsonby, Abels, Thistle, Metro. College, Y.M.C.A.. Eastern Suburbs, Grey Lynn) : Canterbury, 4 (Xomads, St. Albans. Thistle. Western); Otago, 3 (Moegiel. Northern, Maori Hill) : Wanganui, 1 (Athletic) ; Buller. 1 (Thistle) : South Auckland. 5 (Hamilton Wanderers, Claudelands Rovers, Glen Afton, Huntly Starr, Rotowaro).
