MAORI LABOURER GAOLED. (From Our Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Tuesday. "You are going to get into serious trouble," said Mr. Justice Reed, in the Supreme Court at Hamilton to-day, when a Maori, Kapa Te Wharau, aged 23, a labourer, who had been committed from the Te Aroha Police Court on three charges of breaking and entering with theft, appeared before him for sentence. "I will give you one more chance," added his Honor. "If you continue to do this sort of thing when you are released, you will certainly be declared an habitual criminal." A sentence of 18 months' imprisonment was imposed on each charge, the sentences to be concurrent.
