WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AMD PROVINCE.
The Government Meteorologist issued to the " Auckland Star" title afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south a* Hamilton. Kawhia and Tauranaa:— Light to moderate south easterly to easterly winds, later tending northerly and freshening. Weather changeable, with a few scattered light showers at first, later becoming cloudy to overcast, with rain gradually becoming more widespread after about 24 hours. Temperatures cool. Seas moderate to rather rough on the east coast and slight on the west coast, but with considerable swell. An intense anti-cyclone covers the Dominion, the centre being east of the South Island. Pressure has fallen over eastern Australia. HAURAKI CULT CONDITIONS. *££. *•*•**»■ report of weather conditions in the Haurakl Culf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day :^ Wind, east, light; sea, smooth; weather, cloudy and dull; visibility, good; barometer, high and steady.
