MOTOR CARS DAMAGED.
BLAZE IN HOTEL GARAGE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. Seven cars were badly damaged in a lire which occurred in a shed at the rear of the Commercial Hotel Inst night. Three sedans . one brand new. were practically gutted and three touring model* were almost •completely destroyed. The owners were:—South Island Motors (new car,\ Mr. C. B. Gass, I'yne. Gould and Guinuess Ltd., Mr. n! Collins, Mr. C. Campbell and Mr. H. Patteison. Most of th 6 c&rs were injured.
