Herbert (icorge Wood, pleaded gnilty in the Police Court to a charge of intoxication while iu charge of a motor car. Six bottles of beer and several glasses were in the car. and when the police arrived accused tried to cover them up. He wa.s taken to the police station and was certilied by a doctor as being under the influence of liquor and not in a lit state to drive a car."
