In the Committee stago of the Military Training Bill, the Government accepted an amendment to extend the employers' liability to pay four weeks' •alary if they do not reinstate a man to liability to pay 12 weeks' salary. TIME INOPPORTUNE. DISCUSSION ON DANZIG. (Received 0.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 18. The League Council Committee, consisting of representatives of Britain, France and Sweden, will not discuss Danzig, according to the agenda, as the time is considered inopportune. Poland approves of this decision. The Polish Minister of Defence, General Kisprzycki, has gone to Paris to confer with M. Daladier and the military staff.
