Every now and then, though more and more infrequently in recent years, we are reminded that man's command over natural conditions in .still far from complete. When the King and sailed from England fur Canada it was probably assumed everywhere that they wonld nrrivc, with the punctuality associated with Royalty, at the time appointed for them. Instead, it seems likely 1 lint they will be two days late. Mid winter conditions in the North Atlantic have been rcspon>ible not only for delaying their arrival but for giving; them the rare and perhaps enjoyable experience of something that was not planned for them. The occurrence will heighten the interest, already widespread and deep, with which their tout » being awaited, both in Canada and the United States.
