SEASON CLOSED. PRIZES PRESENTED. A largo nuinlipr of members of the Auckland Ladies' Bowlinff Club and their friends attended an enjnyaibli; afternoon hold in the board room of the. Farmers Trading Company. Items were, contributed by Mrs. Fordie anrd Miss Creene and competitions were won by Mrs. Stngponlc and Miss Colebrooke. The bowling eeason was brought to a close, after a successful year, and the club president, Mrs. Boles, assisted by the vice-president, Mrs. Lofley, presented cups and. trophies won during the season as follows:—First year champion; Mrs. Hodgson; runner-up. Mrs. Sutton. Handicap singles: Mrs. Holes; runner-up, Mrs. James. Pairs: Mrs. Roles .'mil Mrs. Hodgson; runner-up, Mrs. Vi.un.or and Mrs. Tickner. Harris Cup: Mrs. Holes; runner-up. Mrs. Younjr. Lofley Cup: Mrs. Boles; runnertip. Mrs. Vau-rhan. Percent iijjn fours: Skip. Mrs. Vaughnn; third, Mrs. Blair; second. Mrs. E. Younjr; lead, Mrs. Arinit. Mrs, Boles took the opportunity of presenting the retiring secretary, Nimmo, with a beautiful mirror from the club members as a mark of their appreciation for the pood -work by her during her four years of office.
