Hie original "Topper" came to Auckland virtually "unheralded and unminj;," but it proved one of the most amusiiii? comedies neen here. So successful in.lend was it nil over the world that Hul JJoach. the producer, wua prompted to put Thome •Smith's sequel on tlie ecrocn as well. "Topper Takes a Trip" vrtu produced ju»t as lavishly an its predct-eedcr, altiiou«h there is perhaps, a slight tendency to tire of the impossible always happening towards the end of the film.
