STILL TOO HIGH.

ACCIDENTS TO CYCLISTS. NEED OF CARE STRESSED. The need for bicycles being fully equipped and ridden according to traffic regulations was pointed out in a letter which the Mount Albert Borough Council received at a meeting laet evening from the Commissioner of Transport. The commissioner said that statistics showed that the number of accidents to persons riding bicyclee was still too high, and with the approach of winter, accidents might be expected to mount steadily. f Mr. G. E. CarY considered that cyclists should have a badge, so that they could be reported when they offended. The town clerk, Mr. T. R. Congalton, said that the Minister had stated that a regulation would be adopted to deal with the whole matter.
