PERSONAL.
Mr. Neil Louisson travelled to Wellington by this morning's 'plane. Mr. E. Li. Rutledge arrived from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. Mr. A. G. Fogarty will be a passenger for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. Mr. L. J. Stevens wie a passenger for Dunedin by this morning's 'plane from Auckland. Mr. G. H. Davis, of the lands division of the Railways Department, left for Wellington by the early exprese this afternoon. Mr. E. J. Marklew, assistant engineer for the communications branch of the railways, arrived from Wellington by the early express *this morning. Mr. P. R. Picot, Director of Internal Marketing, arrived from the south by train this morning. He expects to leave again this evening. Mr. D. Holderness, superintendent and engineer for the Auckland Harbour Board, will leave for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. Captain T. J. Watts, secretary and advisory superintendent of the United Fire Brigades' Association, returned from the south by the Limited express this morning. Mr. F. W. Gilligan, headmaster of the Wanganui Collegiate School, arrived in Auckland to-day and is staying at the Northern Club. He will attend the Auckland Old Boye' annual dinner tomorrow evening, and will return home on Friday. Brigadier-General J. P. Underwood and Mrs. Underwood, of Yorkshire, arrived at Wellington in the Wanganella. They will leave Auckland for California to continue their world tour on May 27. Brigadier-General Underwood was in command of the 150 th Yorkshire and Durham Light Infantry Brigade until the end of laet year.
