Sir William Htmt "was a passenger fee , Wellington by this morning's "plane from Auckland. The Hon. F. E. Lark, M.L.C., vne. a passenger for Auckland by the Limited express this morning. Mr. F. M. Clark, who has been visiting Auckland, returned to Welltngton by 'plane this inorninjr. Sir Samuel Horclern, of Sydney, and Lady Hordern, who arrived at Auckland in the .Monterey, will leave Wellinsrton for London in the Kangitane to-morrow. Mr. T. A. Barrow, Secretary for Air, who lias beon visiting Auckland, will return south by the Limited express this evening. 11 r. T. H. Langford, Xo. 3 Transport Lit-ensing Authority, was a passenger by the Limited express from Wellington this morning. Mr. J. A. Lee. Parliamentary Undersecretary for Housing, reached Auckland by the Limited express from Wellington this morning. Dr. C. Hughes-Johnson, senior house surgeon at the Wanganul Public Hospital, is to leave for England in June to take up post-graduate work in London. Messrs. J. Primrose, S. B. Sims and F. A. Snell were to-day reappointed by the Auckland Education Board its representatives on the board of the Hamilton High School. The Rev. H. Squires, formerly of St. Coluniba Church, (Jrey Lynn, has taken up his now duties as roissioner at the Wellington City Mission, Taranaki Street, and he was officially welcomed at the mission last evening.
