PAYMENTS THIS MONTH. Quarterly levy payments by male iidults are'due. this month, but the task of postal nfficiaU in handling this rush of business is expected to be simplified somewhat by the decision of many larpe •firms to deduct the charge from the wa-res of employees and forward the total amount "to the Department, together with the levy books. So far there bus been m> rush io pay the levy, and it is not anticipated that there will be a large increase in the volume of payments for about 10 days. The return of income other than salary and wages, which must be put in even if the amount is "nil." ha* also to be made this month. Forms are boiiifr issued at the post office as the levy is paid.
