SPECIAL DAIRY SALE
OFFERING AT PUKEKOHE
Alfred Buckland and Sons. Ltd, held their annual dairy heifer sale at Pukekohe yesterday, when over 300 in-calf heifers were yarded. Quality was not up to last year's standard, many of the offerings beinp small and backward. Good quality well grown lots, however, were in steady demand, and satisfactory prices were realised. Quotations:—Heifers in milk £4 to £8 10/; best heifers close to profit 7W- i 2 8 10/: S ood quality ealyere, £6 5/ to £7 5/; more backward, 10/ to £4 ld/ ; emaU aDd bMkward - £2
