Mr. V. \r. Ambler returned from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. Mr. F. W. Milne returned by the Limited express tliis morning after % \ isit to Wellington. % Air. H. C. McCoy was a passenger for Auckland by the early express from Wellington this morning. Sir William Hunt was a passenger for Auckland by yesterday afternoon's 'plane from Wellington. The Hon. Mr. Justice Reed travelled ts far as I*rankton by the Limited express from Wellington this morning. Mr. J. Sea brook and Mr. W. F. Fowlds, who have l»een on a business visit to Wellington, returned by train this morning. Dr. C. D. C'ostello, radiologist at the Auckland Hospital, returned bv the Limited express this morning after M brief visit to Wellington. Sir <weorge King, who lias been visiting the Dominion, left for Sydney in the W anganella last evening on the first stage of his return home to Ensland. ° Mr. A. W. Wellsted, commercial manager for the Railways Department, and Mr. (J. (J. Stewart, publicity manager, have returned to Wellington from Auckland. Mr. R. H. Bartley, general manager for the Auckland Electric Power Board, and Mr. S. J. Harbutt. chairman of the board, returned from, a business visit to Wellington by train this morning. Mr. J. Purtell will leave for Wellington by train to-morrow to represent the Auckland scot ion of the Xortli Island Plasterers' Union in Conciliation Council proceedings for a Xortli Island award for fibrous and solid plasterers. Mr. A. D. Bayfield, of Wellington, a member of the New Zealand Olympic and British Empire (James Association, is to leave in the Rangitanc on May 6 on a six months' trip to England. He hopes to meet j>r< minent sportsmen in England. and to be able to do r-omething to further (lie interests of the association in Xew Zealand. He will be accompanied bv his wife.
