AN EXCITING GAME.

Hawk anil doves is a splendid prartie for the playgroiind. The players divide into two "roups, one going to one side of the ground and the other tile other end, and in the centre is the hawk, a single player, whose duty is to eat eh any of the doves that run past and try to get to the other side. The hawk cannot enter either of the dovecotes, but if a dove is caught outside its '"home'' then that dove Incomes a hawk and joins in trying to catch the others, who run between the two homes, the last caught being hawk for the next game.
