CIVIL RESERVISTS

CAPETOWN, April 14.

The Defence Department in a statement says that the registration of Class A citizen force reservists is proceeding.

This i* the first step to a more comprehensive registration scheme, features of which arc the extension of the compulsory registration to all citizens below 45, the eompilation of a national reserve of all between 17 and 60, and the recording of all whose normal occupations arc regarded as war-time "key" positions.
