Count Ciano, Italian Foreign Minister, arrived at Tirana to attend the Constitutional Assembly. The Assembly offered the Albanian Crown to the Kin? of Italy by resolution. Albania will remain a separate State. The resolution offering King Victor Kmniauuel the crown specified that Albania should enter into personal unity wnh Italy through the Kind's perMW. The Awcmltly passed a further resolution abolishing King Zog's <iovemnient. preserving the Albanian flag, and making provision for Italy's protection of Albanian frontiers. A new Cabinet has been formed under the Premiership of Shefkat. Vcrlack. All the new Ministers are Albanians. The Albanian Legation in Paris refuses to recognise the new <lovernmenl. which it describes as **a committee created by the invader."* An Athens message says Queen (•craldinc s condition is "serious, but as good is cMtuld be expected-"' All public photographs of King Zog have l»ecn replaced by pictures of Sign or Mussolini and the King of Italy.

Oath To Avenge Insult By Italy In Albania. MASS MEETINGS IN ALGIERS. (Received 12 noon.) ALGIERS. April 12. Moslems in every town in Algeria are holdinjr ma<ss meetings of protest against tbe invasion of Albania. Partjci pants are taking- an oath to avenge the insult on It-lam sooner or later.
