The most singular method of fishing is, without a doubt, by means of the sucking fish, or remora. In different parts of the world the fish is trained by the natives to attach itself to its scaly prey, to which it sticks so tenaciously that the fisherman is able to lift both into his boat or canoe by means of the cord fastened to the fish 'that catches fish.
