ALL BERTHS FULL. VESSELS WAIT IN STREAM. AWATEA FOB SYDNEY. CITY OF DELHI FROM HALIFAX. Although the aggregate tonnage of 120,000 is not a record, all the wharves are exceptionally bu*y to-day. Fourteen oversea and several intercolonial cargo vessel* are in port, and all berths are | occupied, four late arrivals having to lie'i at anchor in the stream until other ships .-ail. Thus is partly due to the stoppage of work for Kanter, but all vessels are now being worked at their best speed, which ics expected t» relieve the congestion by Thursday at the latest. The Union Company's express passenger liner Awatea arrived .-hortly after 1" a.m. to-day from Sydney, berthing at QueenV wharf. She will sail on her return to Sydney at S p.m. to-day. taking 300 passengers. The A. and A. Line steamer City of Delhi will arrive from Halifax at 10 p.m. to-day and anchor in the si renin. She hrimjs general cargo from Halifax via Kingston and Panama, and i- expected to leave for Wellington next .Monday. Dominion Monarch, which arrived last Monday on her maiden voyage, will leave for Napier on Sunday morning to continue home loading. (L.D.N.) Willowbank, a new motor ship, arrived this morning from Nauru Island with a cargo of phosphate, and is at anchor awaiting a berth. (8.P.C.) Roggeveen will arrive at 7 a.m. tomorrow from Saigon and other Kastern ports with 10 passengers for Auckland and general cargo. (R. and S., Ltd.) Tairoa is loading at Central wharf for London and West Coast ports, and will leave for Napier to-morrow afternoon. (L.D.N.) Trojan Star, which arrived last Thursday front Liverpool, is expected to leave on Thursday for Wellington (N.Z.S. Co.) H.M. Ships Leith and Wellington sailed early this morning for gunnery exercises in the Gulf. (Naval Dept.) Port Caroline will complete loading to-morrow for London and West Coast ports, and sail at 8 p.m. (F. Co-op.) Waimarama is completing loading at King's wharf and will sail on Saturday for London and the Continent, via Rio de Janeiro. (L.D.X.) Waiwera. now loading at Opua for London, will go to Napier on Thursday instead of to Auckland, coming here next Monday. (A.S.P.). Frankfurt, which is loading wool for the Continent, is expected to berth on Friday. (H. and M.)
