PRIZE POTATO FOR KING.

After the illness of the late King George V. he received from a Canadian girl a pair of embroidered mocassins "to keep his feet warm as he strolls about the Palace grounds." Much less sensible was a registered packet from Vermont, United States of America, addressed "His Majesty the King of England, Houses of Parliament, London." Reaching King Edward VII. just before his Coronation, it contained a gigantic prize potato!
