ONEWA ANNUAL MEETING. 1 i The president, Mrs. A. Cowie, presided at the si nil tin 1 meeting of the Onewa Free Kindergarten, held in the Returned Soldiers' Hull, at Northcote. Substantial progress was disclosed by the report, the roll showing a. satisfactory attendance. With the co-operation of the school nurse. Miss C'roll, a Simshine Club had been formed Appreciation was recorded of the service rendered as secretary by Mrs. A. J. W. Hodder, who is leaving shortly to live at Hastings, and regret was voiced at her severance with the kindergarten. Oflicers elected were: President, Mrs. W. K. A. Stewart: deputy-president. Mrs. A. Cowie; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. A. M. Nicholson; committee, Mesriame*' A. Cowie. A. Facer, K. A. Skudder. J. Jl. Tyson, K. G. Duncan, and Miss M. Klingsby Xewnian; delegates to Auckland Kindergarten Association. Mesdames W. K. A. Stewart and A. Facer; director. Miss Beryl Winstone; assistant director, Miss Marion Roberts.
