The Government Meteorologist I Issued to the " Auckland Star" this ' afternoon the following special [ weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light and variable winds, southwest to southerly predominating. Weather fair to fine. Temperatures moderate. Seas slight to moderate, j A very slight depression has been crossing the South Island, but pressure is still generally h:ih over the Tssman Sea and the New Zealand area. - KAURAXI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north-north-east, light; sea, smooth; weather, cloudy, but fine; visibility, good; barometer, rising slowly.
