CONSPIRACY CHARGE.
SYDNEY MAN AT BOW STREET.

LOXDOX, March 31
\ man charwd in Bow Street in the name of JcW Woolcott Forbes, as a fugitive offender, with conspiracy to defraud in Sydney, claimed that hie name was Hyman Richard Diamond. Bail was refused, and tno magistrate is directing the expedition of inquiries.
A. cable from Bombay on March 24 etated that a warrant li-id been l.stued lor the arrosi of John Woolcott Forbes, wnwe extradition to Sydney w-as sought to answer a charge o: conspiracy. Uookott Forbes had appeared in Court eeveral times since a previous arrest iu_ Bombay. The last occasion wae on Satui iay, when the hearing was adjourned. The prosecutor at Bombay told the chief magistrate that Wooleott Forbes , whereabouts were unknown .
